This volume contains more than twice as many cases as its predecessor, yet its vastly improved layout greatly facilitates the location of relevant judgments. Each of the editors is doubly qualified as a
lawyer/doctor; Dr Knapman is a full-time Coroner, Dr Powers, QC, has acted
as an advocate in coroners’ courts and also as a deputy coroner; Dr
Branthwaite has also been involved to a considerable extent in the
compilation of this work. All three are barristers.
The
Law of the Manor The Law of the Manor will be found to be a most useful work to refer to in practice: it is the first definitive one on the subject (the publishers believe) for more than a hundred years, and will have a wide and discriminating appeal to lawyers, and also to those owning, managing, selling or buying historic houses and estates.
Law of the European Judgments Convention If this truly massive work is to be praised for one thing above all others, it is for its comprehensiveness both in understanding and in extent; Professor Kaye ranges over the whole field of European Law. A separate brochure setting out the full contents is available on request. The author was formerly Reader in Law and Director of the Centre of European Law and Practice at the University of East Anglia; he is now Morgan Bruce Professor of Law at the University of Wales and Guest Professor of Common Law at the University of Trier, Germany. Approximately 4,500 pages in five volumes

Status of Tibet in International Law (1999 publication) The title is provisional; the book will be published in 1999 and will deal, inter alia, with Human Rights. Beyond saying that this book will be an important contribution in the Human Rights field, there is little the publishers can say except that Mr Berkin has carefully researched the subject more fully than we have seen elsewhere.
